Delhi Metro Reached Ballabgarh

The wait is Over in Faridabad

Metro started operations in Ballabgarh

It is a very good news for all Ballabgarian that Delhi metro has been started on Monday (19th November 2019). It will be convenient for all Ballabgaian that they can travel to Delhi, Gurgaon, and Noida very easily.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the Kundli Manesar Palwal Expressway or the KMP Expressway. The KMP Expressway was scheduled to be completed in 2009 but missed multiple deadlines due to problems in land acquisition.
This expressway will act as a ring road around Delhi and could also reduce heavy vehicle traffic by diverting up to 50,000 commercial vehicles away from Delhi region. As KMP Expressway goes fully operational, all vehicles which are going southwards and westwards will be able to do so without entering Delhi, thereby reducing the traffic in the city.
The basic idea is to connect Northern Haryana with neighbouring states via a high-speed road, especially for heavy commercial vehicles. On the sidelines of the inauguration of the KMP Expressway or the Western Peripheral Expressway.
The total cost of acquiring the land was ₹ 2,788 crores. The Expressway will connect NH-1 which goes towards Panipat, at Kundi, with NH-10 near Bahadurgarh. Other connections will be made at NH-8 at Manesar and at NH-2 on the Delhi-Agra highway near Palwal. In total, the Expressway will cover five districts which are Sonipat, Gurugram, Palwal, Mewat and Jhajjar, all in Haryana. The total KMP Expressway length is 135.6 kilometres and it is a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) project.

Considering both the eastern peripheral expressway and the western peripheral expressway into account, the total route is about 270 kilometres long. The entire KMP Expressway project has been developed over 2,846 acres of land.
The KMP Expressway has eight small bridges, six large bridges along with 34 underpasses and 64 pedestrian crossings. Also, the six-lane expressway will have numerous refreshment centres, parking lots, police stations, petrol pumps dotted along.

In a bid to offer safety for commuters, a chain-link fence has been installed along the entire length of the expressway in addition to three metres wide metal beam barriers.
Apart from this PM Modi also inaugurated the Ballabhgarh Metro station, situated near Faridabad.
With this new link, the commute time from Kashmere Gate to Ballabhgarh will reduce from 2:30 hours to just 75 minutes. Another special thing of Raja Nahar Singh Metro station of Ballabhgarh is that the station is on five floors.

Raja Nahar Singh Station is in Ballabhgarh and is surrounded by Ballabhgarh Inter-State Bus Terminal and Ballabhgarh Railway Station. This station is a five-storey building with two commercial floors above the track level. This station has parking on the other side of National Highway II.
DMRC engineers conducted trial several times in metro over Ballabgarh Metro, which started its operations for the public from Monday.

Now there are too many projects that the on the verge of competition and people of Haryana have got another reason to rejoice. With these new developments, we can expect fewer cars on the road and hence less pollution.

Next task for this Government is to start a mission where tree plantation should be taken up and this should be implemented at the fast pace so the Indians can get access to safe and pollution free (better than the quality of air at present) air.

For that, we all must join hands along with Government of India and start planting trees as much as possible.
